ABp Peter Jensen: Why I am a Protestant, Reformed, and Evangelical Christian

Peter is a great friend and a valued leader, eirenic yet distinctive, scholarly yet clear. Thanks to The Theologian website for these talks, which may be accessed here. I would highly recommend these to anyone who thinks Sydney is about 'entryism' into the Anglican church of some alien and hostile theology!

"With his usual clarity, charm, and boldness, the Archbishop of Sydney outlines the reasons why he is Protestant not Catholic, Reformed not Arminian (or Amyraldian), and Evangelical in the best traditions of that term. Originally given as lectures at a preaching conference in the Northern Region of Sydney Diocese in February 2007, these helpful talks will inform, encourage, and challenge Christians to think more carefully about their identity in a confused and confusing world."

  1. I thought all the Syndey lot were Amyraldian?

  3. Well, not all, and it wouldn't mean you could deny us the 'Reformed' title in any case!

  4. actually, I don't know where they got that thing about him denying he is amyraldian from. He does no such thing in this talk anyhow.
