Relaunch planned for Sheffield Diocesan Evangelical Fellowship

In the wake of two Diocesan Evangelical Fellowships (Rochester and Manchester)shutting themselves down in recent months, I am pleased to note that the Sheffield Diocesan Evangelical Fellowship is being relaunched.

Julian Mann is organizing an inaugural meeting of the revived fellowship at the Sheffield Cathedral Chapter rooms on Tuesday March 20th from 12.30pm - 2.30pm. The charge is £10 per head to cover room hire, sandwiches and speaker's rail ticket -- and as it happens, I am that speaker!

The theme will be the one addressed in my book, A Strategy that changes the Denomination, and as Julian says in his e-mail to colleagues, the meeting will be examining the challenge of institutional transformation facing the Church of England in its calling to evangelise the nation, and the role of Anglican Evangelicals in serving Christ's mission.

If you want to go, contact Julian Mann on 0114 286 2317 or by e-mail (julianascension[remove this]@aol.co). If you're a Sheffield evangelical, I hope to see you there!
