It is very disappointing for NZ. At 21/9 Australia could have wiped our shame (26, lowest test score ever) off the record books (at least into second place).
But no. Not only does our shame remain, but we know Australia doesn't care about us.
You neglected to mention the Proteas were bowled out for 96 on the same day. Not as bad as 47, but shows you there's something weird going on when two sides are bowled out for an aggregate total of 143.
