  1. The Mouse, still there after a 5 week silence! I have never made it, but it might be a wonky RSS feed!

    Thanks for this, John!

  2. Fr David - try not posting anything for a while. It seems to work for him! ;-)

Interesting to see who is not there.......no Cranmer, Ould, Rugby Playing Priest, Stand Firm, Virtue Online. Perhaps the more extreme conservatives have peaked.....

  4. Andrew, like a lot of these things, you have to be 'in it to win it' - ie registered with Wikio. The same is true with Technorati. As these things become better known, more folks sign up and the competition gets harder. I used to have no problem sailing along in the top thirty at Technorati. Now, though my readership stats are up, my ranking is down!

You also have to 'work the system'. Given that Church Mouse is retired (temporarily?) and still at number 3, it illustrates the vagaries of the whole system.

A lot of it is about blogger vanity - myself included!

Yes - but at least some of those I mention have been in the rankings before and have dropped down the order.

  6. Cranmer isn't on the list because he chooses to be a slightly smaller fish in the bigger pool of the Politics class. Otherwise I'm sure he'd be #1 in the Religion & Belief class.

  7. I was 85, now up to 48 - with not a huge volume of traffic to be honest. Still not a bad blog launch. :-)

Fr. David we could always launch a mega blog if you really want to dominate the charts(oohfatherwahtalovelymass.com?) But I reckon you should be in the top 100 somewhere if I am. Recheck settings?
