A great view

A great view from the back-garden tonight towards sunset of the crescent moon and planet Venus (also a crescent at the moment, but too small to resolve with a 50mm camera lens).

    I'm glad you pointed out Venus is a crescent as this distracts me from a comment a fellow star gazer made last night, that the planet (as a star shape) and the moon together resembled the flag of Pakistan!
