This was in poor area off the tourist track. My hunch is that a lot of parents are making big sacrifices to educate their children. Is this a good area to focus help on?<BR/><BR/>On another issue, I remember talking to a Ugandan ordinand at Oak Hill when the Jubilee 2000 campaign was at its height, and asking him what he thought of the idea of cancelling 3rd world debt. His response was that it was a good idea, it would help, and we should do it- but that it wouldn't make a huge difference. He thought that if we really wanted to change things, we should stop selling guns to Africa.
